Every month we’ll be profiling one of our favorite nurseries – a peek into a unique space and maybe a little design inspiration for your own nursery. This month, we’re heading to Philadelphia to check out Baby Hudson’s new digs. His mommy, Christina Boschette, is a Nursery Designer at Widell Designs (score for Baby Hudson!)
She started by putting a modern, bold twist on the traditional stripe, using a black and white palette. Did you know babies can only see in black in white the first few months? Imagine all the stimulation this provides for Baby Hudson and his playmates.
We also love all the cool details and personal touches in this space. From the shelves and matching baskets…
To the pops of color like these stuffed animals and rain boot bookend.
But our favorite is this vintage castle side table filled with animal figurines. It used to be a toyshop display. How cool is that?
This black and white, gender neutral room is a sophisticated space that can grow with your little one. Two thumbs up!
